Store Employees roles encompass various responsibilities for the efficient operation of a CBD retail location. The following are the minimum standards of a store employee.
– Welcome customers warmly, be visible on sales floor, offer assistance proactively, and be available to answer questions.
– Handle customer complaints and issues efficiently and courteously.
– Have a thorough understanding of products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations.
– Suggest additional products to complement customers specific needs.
– Strive to meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.
– Complete daily Tally Sheets, discount expectations, feather rewards, and selling/sampling model.
– Ensure shelves are stocked, inventory is accurate, and products are correctly displayed.
– Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sales floor, stockroom, bathrooms, window smudges and checkout areas.
– Assist team members as needed and contribute to a collaborative work environment
– Be coachable to any new procedures, practices, and education to continue the growth of our business.
– Process transactions accurately, handle returns and exchanges, and manage cash register operations.
– Be open to working various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and during peak seasons.
– Be proficient in using POS system for all transactions per corporate guidelines.
– Follow all store and corporate policies and procedures, including discounts, product verbiage, dress code, and the health and safety guidelines.
– Adhere to laws and regulations regarding sales, returns and customer privacy.
– Be open to constructive criticism and use it to improve performance.
– Take initiative to learn and grow within the role, seeking opportunities for development.
