Maxus Properties is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician for Bicycle Club Apartments in Kansas City, Missouri. Maxus Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the overall maintenance of our communities.

DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

-Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.

-Perform timely repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc.

-Prepare apartments for tour/next residents move in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, scheduling vendors where necessary.

-Assist with property inspections including semi-annual, fire safety, pest control, etc.

-Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.

-Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc).

-Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent is required; current driver's license is required; property maintenance experience is strongly preferred; EPA608 certification is required, but will assist with obtaining; familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
