May Technology & Mfg., Inc., est. 1964 and located in Kansas City, MO has immediate openings for long-term self-starting professional individuals. We manufacture high quality precision machined parts, assemblies and tooling for the aerospace, defense, automotive, construction and other industries using the latest in advanced computerized mfg. tools & technology. We seek individuals that are highly skilled, quality minded, dependable, positive and motivated to join our growing team. Must be able to pass a drug screen, work weekends (rare)/overtime as the position requires.
Summary
This is an entry level position.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
· Satisfy internal shipping requirements while ensuring the accuracy of shipments, traceability, and supporting documentation using the most cost effective and timely method available.
· Package parts/assemblies to prevent damage, which may include building crates.
· Perform accurate receipt of goods into inventory, both physically and systemically while verifying all manufacturing documentation.
· Maintain appropriate customer min/max levels using daily customer reports.
· Utilize customer portals for preparing Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) and properly labeling shipments.
· Build kits from stocked components.
· Cycle count inventory for accuracy and maintain stocking locations.
· Issue OP (outside process) purchase orders before shipment to the vendor.
· Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe working environment.
Education and/or Experience
· High school diploma or GED.
· One year of relevant warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred.
· Thrives in a fast paced work environment; responds with a sense of urgency.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and
percentages.
· Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to read tape measure and ruler.
· Attention to detail, accuracy a must.
· Basic math and computer skills.
· Ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple efforts with strong results/goal orientation.
