Responsibilities include investigative background work, determining records to be requested in the case; evaluating all records obtained via requests, discovery, from the client or otherwise for key documents and information that assists in defense of the case; preparing discovery to be sent out; meeting with the clients to obtain information and documents for, and prepare responses to, discovery received; contacting witnesses; locating experts to assist in case, determining documents to be provided, and working with experts to develop their opinions, compile materials required to prepare attorneys for motions, depositions, mediation, and trial, including preparation of exhibits for trial, organizing witnesses and exhibits for use at trial and trial attendance.Candidates should embrace a busy litigation docket, a high energy environment, be organized self-starters with solid work ethic and be ready to join an amazing team.We offer a positive environment with a salary commensurate with experience and great benefits, including a 401K, participation in the firm's medical/dental/vision insurance coverage, free parking, reimbursement of business mileage and great people to work with.QualificationsWritten discovery and litigation document preparation skillsCommunication skillsResearch and Document Review and Analysis skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyKnowledge of legal terminology and proceduresParalegal Certificate from an ABA approved School or 4 year degree plus 5 years practical litigation experience.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
