Small food equipment repair and general restaurant maintenance company looking to add motivated guys to our team by middle to end of May.
There are two different positions available, PM services on commerical bakery equipment, and also in need of a general maintenance tech or assistant for our lead tech.
PM tech duties include; servicing and performing preventive maintenance on commerical food equipment. Cleaning burners, changing air filters, water nozzles and cleaning drains. You will receive full on the job training with the owner directly. After completion of training you will receive a company take home vehicle, tools to perform the job (if not self supplied) and all fuel and parts are purchased by company.
General maintenance tech/tech assistant. Assisting lead tech with projects on restaurants and grocery stores, including tile repairs, painting, drywall, interior and exterior lighting, ceiling tile and grid, and various other handyman services. Once training is complete, promotion to an independent technician is possible and desired.
Requirements;
18 and older, valid driver license with no active restrictions.
Must be able to stoop, push, pull or maneuver up to 75lbs.
Must be semi mechanically inclined, know how to use tools (take things apart and put back together).
We will conduct all on job training you will need to perform the tasks and succeed within the field.
The position is ideally suited for someone that would like to enter the mechanical maintenance and/or hvac fields at an entry level position. Must be ok with traveling/driving up to 200-300 miles a day. Job is very mechanical and requires mechanical knowledge, such as how to take things apart and reassemble. If you’ve worked on vehicles, done electrical/plumbing, or perhaps shop classes in school and work well with your hands this job is for you. We provide all on job training with lead techs or the owner directly. There is room for advancement to full on technician as you grown and learn the equipment.
Starting pay base is $17 an hour with optimal raises at 90 days with good performance. One week paid vacation available after six months of service. Second week after one year.
