Job Summary: Full time skilled labor position working with installation crew constructing custom projects which include site grading, irrigation, landscape installation and masonry/hardscape labor. Work days are Monday thru Friday and potential overtime (some Saturdays may be required based upon weather and/or project deadlines). Training will be provided and opportunities for career promotion are available to qualified applicants.
Job Requirements: Qualified applicants should have minimum of 2 years experience installing landscaping and/or masonry projects within the last 2 seasons. Qualified applicants must have a valid drivers license, clean criminal abstract and ability to pass drug screening upon job offer. Qualified applicants must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs and work 40 hours a week doing construction-related labor.
Job Duties:
1. Site preparation labor includes landscape/masonry demolition, removal and loading of construction debris, grading of project sites by hand, digging of trenches and fine grading
2. Irrigation labor includes digging trenches, laying and gluing pipes and adjusting irrigation sprays/rotors
3. Landscaping labor includes moving and installing or transplanting plants, installing bulk materials (mulch, topsoil, rock), laying stepping stones, installing sod/seed and site cleanup.
4. Masonry labor includes moving and mixing hardscape/masonry materials, installing and compacting subbase, installing retaining wall blocks or patio stones, mixing and filling CMU block and site cleanup.
Job Compensation & Benefits:
1. Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00 per hour based upon experience and training
