Location: Kansas City, MO 64129
Pay Rate: $17.00 -$19.00 per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Safely operate a forklift to move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks
Maneuver the forklift with precision, taking into account the size, weight, and shape of the materials being moved
Load and unload materials from trucks or containers using the forklift, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating the system with movement details.
Conduct periodic stock checks and report any discrepancies.
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year recent minimum forklift operating experience required
Active Forklift Certification or recent certification preferred
Must be able to stand, walk, and lift heavy up to 50lbs for extended periods.
The ability to collaborate with other team members, including warehouse staff and supervisors, is essential for smooth operations.
