Stone Canyon is looking for an experienced leader to join our team as a Front of House Manager.
This is a full-time position, 35-40 hour work week. Candidates must be available Tuesday-Sunday and be able to work day -or- evening shifts. The restaurant closes at 9pm, so there are no late nights.
$20-25/hour, BOE + tips for server shifts.
Requirements:
Management experience: 2+ years
High volume - full service, full bar: 2+ years
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of food and beverage operations
Must be at least 21 years old
Responsibilities:
Follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Adhere to company culture
Oversee the daily operations of the front of house and fill in where needed to ensure exceptional service and efficient operations
Perform server duties and responsibilities, as needed.
Achieve restaurant objectives in sales, service, quality, cleanliness, and appearance of facility
Ability to operate a POS system and adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner
Coordinate with the kitchen and back of house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
Fully understand and comply with federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to the law, health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
