Since 1991, Lon Lane’s Inspired Occasions has served the catering needs of Kansas City’s most prominent citizens and corporations. Catering is more than picking a menu. Every event is an experience. Our tenured and talented event planners and chefs bring to life the individual themes and dreams of each client. Inspired Occasions is comprised of a team of 15 in-house employees and nearly 50 on site staff that execute events ranging from intimate dinners for 2 to major events from 5,000 or more guests.
GENERAL UTILITY $16/hr - $18/hr

SUMMARY
Assists in the day-to-day operations of high-end catering business by performing the following responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned depending on daily situations.
Responsible for the cleaning and proper storage of dishes and towels.
Maintain a weekly schedule and execute the organizational tasks associated with keeping the interior kitchen and exterior walk-in cooler cleaned and orderly.
Keeps interior and exterior trash areas clear, clean and organized.
Maintain a daily cleanliness standard for commissary floors, sinks, food storage areas and bathrooms, as well as keeping the area’s and bathrooms stocked.
Assist in loading and unloading catering vehicles when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be accommodating and flexible, be able to carry out instructions, be professional at all times and possess a team spirit.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year of any work experience.
HOURS
Part-time and full-time opportunities. Most work hours will start around 8:00 AM and stop as late as 7:00 PM. General timeframe will be 8 hour shifts.
