Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow Samuel Packaging Systems Group business at existing accounts and develop new customers
Develop account strategies and plans with the sales and service teams
Participate in trade shows and be involved with industry associations
Ability to work cross departmentally without line authority
Lead the implementation and support of our distribution programs
Have the ability to represent our solutions at multiple customer levels
Communicate business activities through our organization in written form either through monthly reports or call reports as required
Market and sell Samuel products and services through direct contact with customers
Provide packaging knowledge and expertise to existing and prospective customers
Arrange on-site meetings with existing and prospective customers in order to present the Samuel product line
Conduct on site sales presentations
Lead professional interactions with customers at multiple levels throughout an organization

Position(s) Supervised: NoneSkills / Experience / Education Requirements:
Excellent working knowledge of industrial packaging business
At least 3-5 years experience in commercial or industrial field sales
Experience in the Distribution Channel highly desired
At least BS or BA degree or equivalent experience in the field
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to use a laptop, smartphone and other devices normally used in conducting business via remote access in various geographic settings
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Job requires the physical ability to visit customer facilities to evaluate operational needs and concerns related to industrial packaging
Must be able to safely visit and evaluate a production environment which may include: hot and cold temperatures, climbing stairs, wearing required PPE, following local safety protocols, standing, walking. stooping for extended periods of time
Must be able to travel the continental U.S. via car, plane, rail as needed to customer facilities or company meetings
Travel requirements could be up to 75% or more as required.
Must be able to safely demonstrate Samuel Packaging Systems Group products in a production mill environment
Trade show attendance requires extended periods of standing in booth
Physically pack and unpack displays weighing up to 50 pounds
