K-4 Reading Interventionist

Position Overview:The K-4 Reading Interventionist supports teachers in delivering high-quality education to students. This role involves assisting with instructional activities, managing classroom behavior, and providing individualized support to ensure that all students achieve their learning goals. The Instructional Assistant plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:Deliver targeted small-group and 1:1 reading interventions using evidence-based programs and assessmentsUse diagnostic tools (e.g., DIBELS, iReady, MAP) to identify student needs, track progress, and adjust instructionCollaborate with classroom teachers, literacy coaches, and student support teams to support MTSS Tier 2 and Tier 3 implementationMaintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and instructional leadersProvide push-in and pull-out support to ensure student growth in foundational literacy and comprehensionParticipate in ongoing professional development and data meetings
