Job Title: HRIS CoordinatorJob DescriptionThe HRIS Coordinator is responsible for onboarding field employees, managing employment screenings, handling union communications, and maintaining employee records. The role also involves setting up and managing field employee training, supporting technology resources, and performing various HR and administrative tasks.Responsibilities
Onboard field employees by setting up and managing employment screenings such as drug tests, BAT's, and fit-for-duty tests.
Manage applicable union communications, including letters of intent and eligibility verifications.
Maintain and manage employee records.
Set up and manage all field employee training, including OSHA, Hazwopper, and First Aid.
Support field employees with technology resources such as tablets and phones.
Manage relationships with 3rd party technology consultants and service providers like Verizon and AT&T.
Perform other HR and workforce compliance and administrative tasks.
Essential Skills
Experience in human resources, onboarding, and administrative support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Possess a professional demeanor.
Technologically savvy with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and with a diverse group of people.
Adaptability to unexpected changes in a positive manner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in employee relations, data entry, HR administration, and HR support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to multi-task.
Proficient in Excel and Blue Beam/Adobe Acrobat Reader.
General understanding of human resources principles.
Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Work EnvironmentThe role requires in-office work every day, with work hours from either 7-4 or 8-5.
