Description: Provide detailed engineering, design and planning assessments and recommendations Evaluate system operations, and provide project scope development for overhead and underground utility systems Evaluate electrical power systems and design overhead/underground replacements per utility standards Develop/modify accurate estimates and engineering drawings using BlueBeam (PDF software), AutoCAD and/or GIS software Meet with manager, engineers and colleagues to review status of each project and determine an appropriate communication course of action Visit site plan to determine the condition of existing utility and collecting necessary information for each project Coordinate ROW acquisition, planning, and design functions through regular project updates for schedule adherence and work forecast Work a minimum of 40 hours a week on a regular basis, with possible OT Additional duties as needed and/or assignedSkills:Autocad, solidworks, cad software, CAD, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Distribution design, Power distribution, Power delivery, Distribution engineeringAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in writing switching orders Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers, and local permitting agencies Great operational planning skills Strong interpersonal skills General computer skills (email, Microsoft Office)About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
