- Provide Production Level-2 Support for a Life Administration application and other applications as assigned.
- Build orchestrations on the Life Administration application.
- Support integrations between core Life applications and enterprise software, and software from external vendors.
- Evaluate new code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security, and metrics.
- Assist in the development of IT staff’s technical expertise by preparing and conducting formal classes and providing technical assistance on complex system problems.
- Contribute to improvement in departmental and operating efficiencies by participating in the development of standards and procedures and by initiating and promoting new concepts and ideas.
- Create and direct software system testing procedures, documentation, and programming to ensure all software is properly developed and regularly tested for quality assurance.
- College degree or equivalent technical training.
- 1-3 years of programming experience with demonstrated proficiency utilizing C#/VB .NET, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server to develop/support Web and network-hosted enterprise applications.
- Proven ability to evaluate/refactor code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security, and metrics.
- Experience building multi-tier applications. leveraging APIs and SOA frameworks.
- Experience with event-based architecture.
- Demonstrated design capabilities and experience using JavaScript frameworks for front-end UI development and Responsive design.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and other SDLC tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
