Aston Carter is partnering with a long term client in Kansas City, MO seeking a contract Accounts Receivable Analyst for their team! The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to dive in to complex AR and collections duties. Job DescriptionThe Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing receivable accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing, tracking and reconciling bank statements, and maintaining customer accounts. This role is the primary customer contact for assigned customer accounts in the Accounts Receivable department. Responsibilities
Consolidate invoices using technology supporting each program.
Summarize consolidated invoices and prepare for monthly accounting processes.
Receive and reconcile customer payments.
Prepare supplier payment distributions and send to accounts payable department.
Apply customer payments to PeopleSoft invoices.
Manage accounts receivable aging and perform collection responsibilities where necessary.
Administer, audit, and reconcile all tax-related processes and issues.
Manage and develop Associates' daily activities.
Essential Skills
2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience including research and analysis.
Excellent customer service skills & experience while collecting.
Experience with invoicing, cash application, and Excel.
Knowledge of Infor, BillTrust, and Salesforce helpful, but not requires.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to understand and administer MS Excel templates used for invoicing solutions.
Attention to detail and strong technical aptitude for understanding technical invoicing solutions.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Aptitude for learning new technologies and learning on the fly.
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite, with office hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
