Payroll AccountantGrowing multi-state, community anchored, mortgage lending company is looking to add a Corporate Payroll Accountant to their growing team. This is an opportunity to work with a well established, tight-knit group that has won best employer in the Flathead for several years.Payroll Accountant will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll and related transactions along with complete accounting record keeping. Payroll Accountant will process bi-weekly payroll for multi-states along with all state and federal payment and reporting requirements, auditing and reconciling of payroll documents and processes, and maintaining accurate record keeping of all defined approved processes.Duties:Process and review all commission and loan related compensation calculations diligently ensuring compliance.Process employee time and attendance data from the time system to payroll and reconcile variances.Perform all payroll functions and set up new employee profiles to include direct deposit, tax withholdings, garnishments, and bonus and commissions schedules.Audit and reconcile wide range of personnel actions and payroll documents.Audit bi-weekly payroll and prepare the payroll journal.Provide customer service to employees in the area of payroll, payroll taxes, timekeeping, online pay stubs access, etc.Calculate and adjust PTO, draw balances, and break time adjustments accruals and usage.Why you want this position:Full benefits to include an excellent variety of medical plans401(k) with a 4% company match12 paid vacation days year 113 paid holidays to include your birthday!Excellent pay plus regular bonusesWork with a tight knit corporate teamGreat, informal work environment with a company that has recently been voted as one of the 50 best places to work (nationally!)Work in beautiful Kalispell, Montana(just a 30-minute drive to Glacier National Park)Get in touch!
