The person must be able to read and understand blueprints, make car repairs in compliance with FRA & AAR rules and keep good repair records. Ensure all company guidelines are met and all safety rules are followed when performing duties.Major Areas of ResponsibilityInterpret job work orders to perform required repairsCoordinate and complete repairs in an efficient manner and within assigned hoursNotify supervisor of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasksInteract with crew members in a team environment, as well as with the supervisorFollow all safety rules, keep work area clean and comply with all Environmental Health and Safety PoliciesEnsure AAR, TMT and customer quality assurance standards are metAbility to pass a 2G, 3G & 4G, FCAW and SMAW weld test within the allotted time given per Carman classificationTM Track Machines offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package to our employees.
