Responsible for responding to ad-hoc requests from multiple stakeholders.Job DescriptionThe role of the EDA Sandbox and SEED Application Business Analyst (BA) involves several key responsibilities, focusing on process improvement, development support, and training. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continued success and evolution of the EDA Sandbox and SEED systems by playing a vital part in process optimization, documentation, and stakeholder training.
Process Improvement and Reconciliation Support:
Responsible for continuous improvement, working closely with the EDA Sandbox and SEED teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Identify and resolve roadblocks in the reconciliation process, ensuring smooth operations and consistency
Prepares and validates reports and presentations, including metrics, team performance, and topics related to issuer and state performance
Identifies, documents, and analyzes discrepancies and anomalies within automated data reconciliation and issuer dispute data, including processing disputes
Develops a deep understanding of the business rules, and leverages that knowledge to improve processes, recommend solutions, enhance team performance, and drive progression of client objectives
Develops As-Is and To-Be models as part of re-engineering projects
Consultation and Testing:
Act as a consultant to support both current and future development efforts within the EDA Sandbox and SEED systems
Test systems to ensure that they meet operational requirements
Acts as a data SME and data validation tester and coordinates with the Product Owners (POs) and developers
Acts as a consultant for the EDA Sandbox and SEED teams when building/designing new functionality such as tables, reports, and other solutions/upgrades
Acts as an advisor to management, executives, and stakeholders
Content Development:
Develop and update training and reference documentation, ensuring that all changes and updates to the systems are clearly explained and communicatedNOTE: This content will be critical in ensuring that stakeholders understand the updated processes, particularly the reconciliation process and the methods for triaging transactions.
Writes clear content as a subject matter expert for EDA Sandbox and SEED and collaborates with internal stakeholders (such as Technical Writers, Support Analysts, and management) to manage, update, and create documentation
Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders, helping to develop content and training materials for stakeholders to ensure they understand the processes, especially in regard to triaging transactions
Provide ongoing support for stakeholders through the training content, which may also involve hands-on sessions and workshops
Communicates effectively with internal and external clients, including the ability to speak to large audiences and present on webinars
Explains complex technical issues in terms that a non-technical person can easily understand
Ad-hoc Requests:
Responsible for responding to ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders, addressing questions or issues that arise and offering solutions that align with the business goals and processes
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent OR 4 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Understand the Enrollment Data Alignment (EDA) processes and pain points.
Experience thoroughly analyzing and testing data
Must be a US citizen or authorized to work In the US (if not a citizen) and a resident of the US for at least 3 years within the last 5 years
Ability to work independently and self-manage
Ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements
Ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks with focus on quality and completeness
Ability to write, review, and present presentations and documents to both new and experienced stakeholders
