Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a First Line Estimating and Pricing Manager (Level K) to join our Finance Shared Services (FSS) Estimating Center of Expertise (COE) organization supporting the Government Estimating and Pricing Transactional Parts team located in Hazelwood, MO .We are looking for a dynamic leader to help lead part of the FSS Estimating COE – Defense, Government Estimating Proposal Development organization managing Transactional Parts estimating team. This leader will help drive functional excellence and create culture that will cultivate change agents.Position Responsibilities Include:

Manages government estimating employees performing estimates, cost or price proposals, business case development and risk, financial and competitive analyses

Develops process improvements with the goal of improving efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction

Identifies, collects and monitors appropriate metrics to ensure performance

Creates development plans for team members including coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer and developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities

Establishes partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports

Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Plans and supports the development of individuals' skills and abilities so that they can fulfill current or future job/role responsibilities more effectively

Provides on-going developmental feedback

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship . An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

3+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

Active U.S. Security Clearance

Experience streamlining processes/tools and developing talent

Experience with government acquisition process

Experience working with large cross-functional teams and interfacing and presenting to senior management
