Responsibilities Requisition components for maintenance/repair of various types of major end items (automotive [wheel and track vehicles], support equipment), and various office products and supplies. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) performing a wide range of supply, maintenance management, and operational functions to include requisitioning, receiving, reconciliation, inventory, issuing/dispatching, and equipment maintenance update; 2) performing clerical tasks such as compiling reports, typing correspondence, memorandums, forms and reports; and process receipts, report overages or shortages. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision Making Manages and Organizes Information Manages Resources Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.
