Reward Engagement Intern

EXCITED TO GROW YOUR CAREER? WE’RE GLAD YOU’RE HERE!​ We have an exciting intern opportunity on our Global Rewards team for summer 2024. The internship will be a 10-12 week program so candidates need to be available to work the full time the whole summer. In addition to getting some real world experience, also includes lunch & learns with various departments, executive/leadership meet and greets, teambuilding with the cohort, intern events, career support resources, etc.Position will work 40 hours a week, M-F daytime hours working on site at our Fenton location at least 3 days a week. Relocation is not provided.This internship will have three main elements to it including:Product Development Project 1: Sustainable Unboxing Experience Display Objective: Design and implement a display that showcases sustainability, in line with the specifications set forth in the 2024 Product Release Merchandising Strategy. Candidate will also:

Design and produce a DIY unboxing video short.

Collaborate in marketing material design.

Attend a sit beside with Rewards Strategy Director to understand the product pitch process.

Participate in curation and preproduction editorials with the New York team.

Product Merchandising

Project 2: Develop and implement a Rewards Showroom-guided cue user experience. This entails creating a step-by-step walkthrough utilizing various mediums such as visual, audio, or digital resources, all of which will be provided within the showroom itself.

Candidate will also:

Collaborate with the Rewards team in designing the visual display for the fall and winter season outside the showroom.

Gain hands-on experience in preparing for a pitch to a major client, including assisting in the set-up and prepping process. This opportunity will provide valuable insight into the presentation process.

Participate in the Rewards Showroom open house specifically organized for the internal sales team.

Strategic Merchandising

Project: Pop Culture Report

Investigate and analyze the latest trends and patterns in consumer spending, with a focus on the rise of social commerce and its impact on purchasing behavior. This comprehensive report will delve into various reward categories, examining macro and micro trends.

Qualifications:

Interns must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or above.

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a completion of 60 credit hours, or currently enrolled in a master's degree/PHD program. Interns that are graduating in May or August do not qualify. They must be enrolled and returning to their university or college.

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, or Business Admin. A minor or emphasis in Merchandising strongly preferred.

Experience using Powerpoint

Proficiency in social media and a strong aptitude in content creation is desired.

Experience with researching material either school or job experience

AI knowledge or experience a plus
