The Business Administrative Manager contributes to the success of the St. Louis and Minneappolis Operations by managing facilities, administrative and other employee related activities to ensure cost-effective use of personnel, equipment and office space. The role is a key member of the Operations management team and works closely with Operations Manager. Key responsibilities include managing various administration functions within the Operations and the Branch office, including handling day to day support and coordination with all department managers and all other locally based employees. Additional duties include being responsible for developing internal communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, administering account engineering assistant Operating Requirements, office staff supervision and task delegation. Ensures cost effective use of supplies, equipment and office space while adhering to FM Global’s purchasing policies and procedures. Serves as a local contact for employees and is responsible for referring and calling out issues to the relevant function or manager.The Business Administrative Manager contributes to the success of St. Louis Operations and Minneappolis by managing administrative functions to ensure cost-effective use of personnel, equipment and office space.

Responsible for the administrative support function for the operations which includes managing a team of direct reports providing various administrative duties in support of the operations and management team.

Proactively identify administrative tasks that can be absorbed by the administrative support team and implement a process to transition responsibilities with adequate training.

Effectively review memo communications so that appropriate support may be provided to ensure the operations staff leverages efficiencies provided by home office.

Ensures that facilities and resources necessary for the office are available and maintained in accordance with company and safety policies.

Maintains office administration processes and procedures and communicates to all employees. Coordinates internal communications including local announcements for new hires, promotions, and office events.

Under the guidance of the Risk Management function, this individual is responsible for the Operations / Branch office compliance with Environmental Health and Safety standards, regulations, and guidelines.

Refers all local employee issues to respective corporate functions including, but not limited to HR functions such as payroll, benefits, etc.

Where applicable in region, collaborate with the Business Resource Group (BRG) Committee Leads to advocate for location-specific inclusion events and initiatives as part of a division-wide BRG plan. Support local coordination, execution, and communication with employees. Ensure initiatives align with Operations' business cycles to minimize disruptions. Measure and report metrics associated with initiatives and events.

This role requires about 10% travel.

Minimum of high school degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Eight years of relevant business experience which includes use of leadership and management experience

A combination of education and experience may be considered.

The hiring range for this position is 85,800 to $123,300. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
