Overview: We are seeking a proactive and versatile individual to fill the role of Class B Driver and Sales Representative for our route-based service company. This position combines the responsibilities of safely operating a Class B vehicle to deliver services to our clients along designated routes with actively promoting and selling additional services to both existing and prospective customers. The ideal candidate will be a skilled driver with a flair for sales, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a Class B vehicle along designated routes to deliver services to clients.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of our service offerings and value propositions to effectively communicate them to customers and prospects.

Actively engage with customers during service visits to build rapport, address inquiries, and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.

Prospect and cold call potential customers within assigned territories to expand our customer base and generate new business opportunities.

Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations to understand customers' needs and recommend appropriate services to meet those needs.

Prepare and deliver service proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing as needed to close deals and secure new business.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and service delivery schedules.

Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to optimize route efficiency, resolve service issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position our services and maintain a competitive edge.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the Class B vehicle and delivering services to customers.

Qualifications:

Valid Class B commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.

Proven experience as a Class B driver, preferably in a route-based service or sales-oriented environment.

Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Knowledge of route optimization principles and techniques is desirable.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and reliability.

Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of loading and unloading service equipment.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate customer schedules.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or related fields is a plus.
