Responsibilities
Receive orders and cross-check cargo invoices
Unload a wide range of deliveries by hand
Sort, package, and store a wide range of food products properly
Pack food boxes for distribution and delivery
Clean work areas, including hand washing tools, sweeping, and mopping
Learn about many local and organic products
Work independently on a wide range of project
Qualification
A passion for local and sustainably produced food
An ability to identify a variety of fruits and vegetables
Basic technology skills, including email and text messaging
Prior food-related experience will be strongly considered
The ability to lift and carry 40lbs repetitively, stand and work for long periods, and complete tasks quickly and efficiently
A positive attitude and ability to work with a team
Compensation
The Warehouse support position starts at $15/hour, and you receive one of Root Cellar's weekly subscription boxes as an added benefit ($35 weekly value)
Availability
Start Date: Immediately
Position is Part-Time
Availability: Minimum of 20 up to 32 hours per week.
9:30 AM 6:30 PM Tuesday-Friday (Must have availability in these hours)
