Adhering to Safety protocols: Ensure the lab equipment is safe for use and that there are no hazards within the space. This is through Preventive Maintenance walkthroughs to catch things such as: trip hazards, exposed wires, leaks, bad centrifuge rotors, equipment out of spec.

Auditing Parts: Frequently check our stock of spare parts and tools and place orders as needed. Ensure there is little to no down time within the lab by making sure the team is equipped and stocked.

Auditing Equipment: Periodically perform walkthroughs of the labs and audit the locations of equipment to check that our inventory is correct. This is performed through a CMMS called Maintenance Connection (MC), so the candidate must be comfortable with computers.

Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM): Weekly check what PMs are due and perform them with care and accuracy. These PMs include inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed. This is to make sure the environment is safe, and that we do not have unexpected failures during production.

Complete Bench Repairs: This candidate should be mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot errors for downed equipment. They will check what equipment needs to be repaired and perform the repair, perform a PM, and then test the equipment to prove it meets our standards.

Repair Equipment within a lab environment: This candidate will occasionally assist the other technicians with corrective repairs. These repairs are usually performed within the lab during a protocol, so the candidate will also need people skills to work with the lab technicians to get their equipment back into production within a timely fashion.Benefits:
