First State Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst at the Baxter location. If you have experience with underwriting, evaluating and monitoring commercial loan transactions this may be a good fit for you!40 hours per week.Full-Time benefits will apply, including; medical, dental and vision insurance, paid sick and vacation, 401k, ESOP and more!Duties and Responsibilities:

The Credit Analyst will perform all duties required of this position by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank, including, but not limited to:

Spread and analyze corporate and individual financial statements and tax returns.

Underwrite new and renewal commercial loans and non-loan credit exposure, resulting in relevant and sound credit recommendations.

Serve as relationship manager for commercial lending relationships assigned. This will involve handling the day-to-day needs of assigned clients, as well as preparing and presenting loan write-ups for their ongoing financing needs.

Assist the loan officers in the preparation of the various loan write-ups on an as-needed basis.

Assist the commercial lenders in obtaining updated financial information for the credit files.

Perform ongoing analysis of customers financial performance and completion of annual credit relationship reviews.

Monitor and maintain covenant, borrowing base and financial reporting requirements. Communicate results to appropriate associates and obtain approvals as needed.

Ensure compliance with Loan Policy, Lending Guidelines and banking laws and regulations.

Respond to inquiries from business unit associates regarding workflow and structuring of new requests.

Complete all required compliance training and comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Act, as well as regulations which apply within the scope of the position.

Assist with special projects and management reports.

Qualifications:

One to three years related experience and/or training required.

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University preferred.
