QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Criminal Justice, Physical Security, Homeland Security, Emergency Management or related degree path
Successfully completed freshman year or above
Be in good academic standing
Provide GPA in Resume upon application
Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to lift material up to 35 pounds
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Assist in review and revision of all Standard Operating Procedures of the Security Operations Center
Participate with the Physical Security Coordinator and Analyst in FERC Regulator required inspections and meeting of NorthWestern Energy's Hydro facilitates
Assist with the annual revision and review of all NorthWestern Energy Emergency Response Plans
Assist with day-to-day operations of the Security Operation Center, work with contract security officers to monitor and update access control and video monitoring of critical assets
Attend meetings with regulatory and industry physical security professionals for development of physical security strategies and enhancements
Conduct research, document and develop reports
Participate in organizational work meetings
Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
