DescriptionProject Manager RemoteCandidates residing in AK, WA, MT, OR, CA or TX are encouraged to apply.The Project Manager plans, implements, and manages various research and non-research projects. The scope of work includes developing project implementation strategies; preparing and maintaining project timelines and budgets; training and coaching project staff; engaging project stakeholders; and generating project reports. Coordinates the development of project implementation strategies; prepares, updates, and maintains project timelines and budgets; facilitates communication with project stakeholders; works collaboratively with leadership, research scientists from other organizations, and peers; documents approach for analysis; facilitates meetings; and monitors and reports success metrics.Creates and maintains foundational project management assets, such as charters, governance matrices, communication plans, project schedules, and status updates.Trains and coaches project staff. Assists with hiring. Coordinates work and provides feedback on performance on a routine basis. Demonstrates effective interactions and positive interpersonal skills in dealing with fellow employees, supervisors, stakeholders, other department employees and vendors in order to maximize productivity and positive employee relations.Coordinates writing and/or analysis of data, including writing drafts of reports for clients, contributing to articles for peer-reviewed journals, and presenting findings to partners, funders, and community stakeholders. Helps to develop new work by partnering with development team to write concept papers, scopes of work, and grant proposals.Coordinates the development of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) measures.
