Analyzeapplicants'financialstatus,credit,andpropertyevaluationstodeterminefeasibilityofgrantingloans.
Obtainandcompilecopiesofloanapplicants'credithistories,corporatefinancialstatements,andotherfinancial information.
Meetwithapplicantstoobtaininformationforloanapplicationsandtoanswerquestionsabouttheprocess.
Explaintocustomersthedifferenttypesofloansandcreditoptionsthatareavailable,aswellasthetermsof those services.
Reviewloanagreementstoensurethattheyarecompleteandaccurateaccordingtopolicy.
Approveloanswithinspecifiedlimits,andreferloanapplicationsoutsidethoselimitstomanagementfor approval.
Handlecustomercomplaintsandtakeappropriateactiontoresolvethem.
Setcreditpolicies,creditlines,proceduresandstandardsinconjunctionwithseniormanagers.
Stayabreastofnewtypesofloansandotherfinancialservicesandproductstobettermeetcustomers'needs.
Reviewandupdatecreditandloanfiles.
Submitapplicationstocreditanalystsforverificationandrecommendation.
Computepaymentschedules.
Conferwithunderwriterstoaidinresolvingmortgageapplicationproblems.
Marketbankproductstoindividualsandfirms,promotingbankservicesthatmaymeetcustomers'needs.
Workwithclientstoidentifytheirfinancialgoalsandtofindwaysofreachingthosegoals.
Negotiatepaymentarrangementswithcustomerswhohavedelinquentloans.
Analyzepotentialloanmarketsanddevelopreferralnetworkstolocateprospectsforloans.
Preparereportstosendtocustomerswhoseaccountsaredelinquent,andforwardirreconcilableaccountsfor collector action.
Providespecialservicessuchasinvestmentbankingforclientswithmorespecializedneeds.
Arrangeformaintenanceandliquidationofdelinquentproperties.
Petitioncourtstotransfertitlesanddeedsofcollateraltobanks.
Qualifications:
BachelorsdegreeinEconomics,Financeorsimilarareaisusefulbutnotrequired.
Fiveyearssalesexperienceinlendingorbanking.
Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,includingabilitytoeffectivelycommunicatewithinternaland external customers.
Excellentcomputerproficiency(MSOffice-Word,ExcelandOutlook).
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Working Conditions:
Thisjoboperatesinaclericalofficesetting.Thisroleroutinelyusesstandardofficeequipmentsuchas computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Requirements:
Thispositionrequiresmanualdexterity,theabilitytoliftfilesandopenfilingcabinets.Thispositionrequires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
