We are hiring in Tupelo, Mississippi! Join us at Easterseals Lonestar for an exciting career as a Training Coordinator. Position Overview: To provide training to students and community partners on prevention efforts of child abuse, child trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of children and child sexual abuse material.Job Summary: To coordinate trainings in Lee County and Pontotoc County Schools on prevention of child abuse, child trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of children and child sexual abuse material. Coordinate with community partners in Lee County on mandated reporting of child abuse and child abuse prevention.Essential Job Functions:

Develop relationships with the local Lee County Schools and Pontotoc County Schools to coordinate training opportunities with students, teachers and administration.

Provide community awareness, outreach and trainings on child abuse prevention efforts.

Attend Multidisciplinary Team Meetings and local Trafficking Task Force Meetings.

Assist any non-offending caregiver or alleged youth victim who deems high risk for possible trafficking and help educate and provide resources to that caregiver and/or the Family Advocate.

Educate and/or assist any non-offending caregivers upon further assessment that need safety education on safe and unsafe touches with their children and provide child abuse prevention resources.

Secondary Functions: Secondary Victim Advocate as needed at the Children’s Advocacy Center.Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

MS OVC Victim Advocate Training Certification

Use of Windows-based equipment (laptop, tablet) and Apple IOS based equipment (iPad, iPhone)

Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

Strong communication skills, time management skills, enjoys being around children and adults; healthy boundaries; strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in urgent situations
