Our Country's protection depends on highly skilled Data Analysts joining our team and ensuring safety of navigation for our ships and submarines.HOW A HYDROGRAPHIC DATA ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Performs hydrographic data analysis, interpretation, and management duties. Develops and implements rules and methodologies for bathymetric data analysis, collation, and fusion.● Works closely with government and contract teammates to produce comprehensive bathymetric charts to support ship navigation.● Interpolates and fuses data from various sources, reliability and accuracy into an accurate and insightful operational product.● Responsible for quality control and ensuring the highest data standards.● Requires data analysis, software application skill, database, and scientific proficiency to reach maximum effectiveness.● Will review and merge various oceanographic, bathymetric, and topographic datasets to produce a comprehensive hydrographic compilation in operationally relevant ocean areas.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Bachelor of Science Degree● Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience.● Required Technical Skills: Data Analysis, Data Processing, Oceanography, and IT Proficiency.● Secret Security Clearance Required● Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communications, problem solving, and analytical thinking.● Preferred Skills: Hydrographic and Oceanographic experience. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
