Overall Purpose and Objective of Position This position is responsible for unloading grain and grain by-products in addition to performing regular cleaning tasks required to maintain a grain elevator facility. Unload grain and grain by-products from trucks.Opening gates and doors on  trucksMaintain a clean and safe work environment and facilityMust be able to distinguish different products and report any abnormities to supervisorBe able to work a combination of 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts consisting of days, nights & weekends.Work is physically demanding, dirty and exposed to outside elementsFollow instructions of Superintendent, Assistant or LeadFollow all LDC safety rules and proceduresMust have adequate knowledge of all SHE policiesResponsible for a clean work area, clean facility and general maintenance (housekeeping)Must wear all required PPE for the jobs being performedAssist in all areas of the facility as neededMust be able to perform all barge/deck hand duties in a safe manner
