Description
Serve as the primary on-site IT presence, supporting production and distribution areas to ensure technology runs smoothly.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and support both Windows and Linux operating systems across devices and servers.
Provide hardware and software support for Zebra printers and other essential manufacturing equipment.
Oversee and support Supply Chain Management software (e.g., Epicor ERP) to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
Facilitate and maintain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes, ensuring smooth data exchanges between systems.
Perform regular system monitoring, updates, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments for optimal IT support across the organization.
Document configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference and consistency.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and IT resources within the Microsoft Suite and related software systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
5+ years of IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems for supply chain settings, such as Epicor ERP or similar software.
Strong expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with EDI processes and data integration.
Hands-on experience with Zebra printers and similar production floor technology.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills and a dedication to customer service excellence.
Preferred Skills:
Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
Understanding of SQL and database management.
Knowledge of ITIL and IT service management best practices.
