A training manager is expected to be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and time management skills. You must be a competent learner and researcher who can multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.The training program manager is responsible for ensuring success by understanding Milwaukee Tool's business, local operations, and decision-making processes. They must be keen on producing targeted and tangible results by creating an effective and efficient workforce. Training managers must be innovative, have strong decision-making skills, and be outstanding facilitators of learning. They must also be relentless at building a training community that understands training as the foundation of executing business needs and growing employees.You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with various department leaders

Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs.

Develop training materials that target tangible results.

Support all safety initiatives at Milwaukee Tool

Implement effective and purposeful training methods

Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance

Clearly and effectively cascade Milwaukee Tool's Mission, Vision, and Culture, driving brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.

Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing the performance of direct reports; providing prompt and objective coaching and counseling.

Weekly Communication updates of wins and losses on training priorities to Sr. Training Leadership.

Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organization’s goals.

Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.

Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage, and deliver training.

Stay current on new training trends, developments, and best practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in training and development management

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

A track record in developing and executing successful training programs.

Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.

Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.

Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.

Fantastic organizational and time management skills.

Strategic and creative mindset.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, education, or another related field and/or related equivalent experience in related fields.

Experience in adult learning within an industrial work environment

Knowledge of OSHA requirements for power industrial truck training

Experience in a TWI training environment
