As the Aircraft Inspector for Rolls-Royce, you will perform in-process and final inspections that require quality verification and certification. You may utilize dial indicators, calipers, depth micrometers, and other equipment applicable to engine evaluation, inspection, repair and assembly. You will be responsible for audits and monitoring all levels of maintenance, reviewing and validating customer technical directives, service bulletins, technical publications and quality inspection points.

Key Accountabilities:

- Participate in managed and monitored QA programs and processes identified in CNAFINST 4790.2 and the Quality System Plan; perform audits and monitor for process compliance

- Read and interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other specifications in order to verify conformity to specifications and aid in the evaluation for serviceability of material

- Conduct in-process inspections on engines and components, sub-components, modules and all fuel, oil, air related systems against required technical publications, service bulletins or directives

- Review technical manuals and instructions for content and applicability

- Initiate and track discrepancy and defect reports through US Navy Discrepancy Reporting System (JDRS)

- Manage technical document library program

Basic Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent with 5+ years’ experience in general aviation or aircraft field and/or engine or module repair/overhaul and/or previous inspection or evaluator

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel

- Ability to work varying shifts and overtime

- Ability to lift, hold and carry up to 50 pounds unaided and work in industrial settings around elevated noise levels, on work platforms utilizing ladders or steps

- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship

Preferred Requirements:

- A&P License

- Adour F405 engine repair/overhaul experience

- Adour F405 Level 1 inspector experience

- Prior experience in compliance auditing
