OverviewResponsible for incoming receiving, cycle counting, and ensuring accepted materials meet quality specifications or requirements.Essential Job Duties
Receives product and completes receiving transactions in MRP.
Inspects incoming materials per the inspection criteria.
Accepts or rejects incoming vendor products per the inspection standard.
Files and manages claims with freight carriers of damaged incoming materials.
Completes cycle counting in the warehouse and works with accounting to complete inventory transactions.
Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)
Shipping and receiving experience desired.
Experience with quality systems in stockroom or warehouse desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills and abilities commonly associated with this position.
Ability to read part prints.
Ability to use a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
Demonstrated competency in using computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint)
Critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Work Environment - Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
General plant and factory conditions, exposure to moderate to high noise levels, variable temperatures, and uneven terrain.
