Summary Provides support to the operation of the Laboratory by assisting with pre-analytical and post-analytical processes resulting in optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required. Performs other duties as assigned.Responsibilities
Performs phlebotomy and specimen collections.
Assesses and maintains quality of specimens.
Communicates with patients and customers.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience EducationMinimum: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.ExperiencePreferred: Hospital phlebotomy experience.Special SkillsPreferred: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
