Clinic hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
Check patients in for scheduled visits and complete clinical reminders
Obtain and document patient and pertinent family history
Perform diagnostic support duties (vital signs, EKG's, phlebotomy, collecting specimens, etc.)
Assist the physician if needed
Prepare patients for tests, examinations, and treatments
Observe and report/document all visible symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patient condition.
Utilize Vista/CPRS to schedule patient appointments.
Ensure necessary supplies are available and equipment is in functioning order.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
Primary care experience preferred.
Current and unrestricted MS state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Must hold a current and valid BLS certification by the AHA or another national association.
