Summary The Phlebotomy Supervisor is working supervisor that leads a phlebotomy team to ensure all operational goals are met. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate activities on all shifts for phlebotomist personnel to include training, continuing education, safety and infection control guidelines, scheduling, counseling, productivity monitoring and performance appraisals.
Assists with recruitment and retention, ordering supplies, storeroom organization, and inventory management.
Works directly with the phlebotomy team to make sure that Laboratory turn-around-time(TAT) goal expectations are achieved consistently.
