Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Play a critical part in a team environment as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in a thriving company. This short-term contract / temporary position is offered through Robert Half. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. If you are a collaborative team member with a positive attitude and effective communication skills, then this role is for you. Located in Jackson, Tennessee, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position.Major responsibilities

Provide support during internal and external audits

Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

Execute additional tasks as needed

Perform full-cycle A/P

Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

Requirements

Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Prior experience in an A/P role

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

Foundational knowledge in Multiple Vendors

Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Deep understanding of Process Vendor Invoices
