POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Affiliate Development Manager drives the recruitment of new Affiliate organizations into the Old Friends Club social respite network. This includes developing relationships with partnering organizations, overcoming barriers, and closing leads with potential affiliates, then guiding new affiliates through the onboarding process.

The Affiliate Development Manager will expand the resource network by educating the community (including social service organizations, community members, faith communities, government agencies, and others) about the respite gap in dementia services and the effective and sustainable solution Old Friends Club offers for families and communities.

Biloxi, Gulfport, Ocean Springs and surrounding areas are the first priority for development.

PAY/BENEFITS

$30 per hour, estimated 15-20 hours per week.

Flexible hours, work mostly performed remotely.

JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Recruit affiliates by establishing relationships with community organizations and building confidence in the affiliate establishment process with those partners.

2. Host virtual roundtable sessions for potential affiliates to facilitate group education regarding the Old Friends Club model, and affiliate onboarding orientation.

3. Provide onboarding materials and tailored support to guide incoming affiliates through the affiliate agreement process.

4. Increase awareness of the Old Friends Club support network through participation in outside events and groups. Log interactions in the contact database

5. Use of CRM (NetSuite) to record communications with potential and current Affiliates.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Sales, Marketing, or Community Outreach Experience

2. Experience working in senior-oriented services is preferred

3. Able to communicate effectively with a variety of community stakeholders

SKILLS/ABILITIES

Well-developed communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Experience with contact database management and community outreach.

Proficiency using CRM preferred

Proven track record closing sales

Computer/Zoom proficient.

Some knowledge of non-profit/social service organizations.

Must pass a criminal background check as required by RCW 43.43.830.

Must be able to work independently while maintaining competing deadlines.
