In support of Production Operations, our team members support everything from receiving to packing and shipping of materials. The warehouse is at the core of our operations, assuring that team members and our customers get the materials they need to be successful.This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment in America.Meet The Team:The Procurement team's mission is is responsible for maintaining the Tool Room inventory of tools, consumables, and supplies to comply with company processes and procedures. The Tool Management Specialist executes contracts with suppliers and fulfils services for all requirements, and will help manage the onsite calibration of tooling where possible. The position assists in analysis, controlling and managing the requirements and movement of all tools and supplies in the Tool Room. The role is also responsible in ensuring all tool processes and procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements.Your working environment:On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. Maintains document storage and retention systems. Manage electronic documentation system for future retrievalBe adaptable, flexible and assertive when required. Be recognized as a results oriented team player that constructively supports organizational goals.Problem Solving and Decision Making – identify problems and assist with the development and implementation of solutionsTool Calibration: 15%Participate in a monthly review of calibration due dates for all Tool Room toolsPerform daily in-house testing and recording results for all torque wrenches to assure they conform to NIST standardsReceive and Log tools for monthly calibrationsManage the Tool Room environmental controls for tools per ISO/IEC - 17025Participate in quarterly training for Calibration back-up(s)
