Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Assistant in Oakdale, Minnesota. The position is within the telecom provider industry and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the HR department in daily administrative activities. The HR Assistant will also assist in the management of company-wide human resources processes and procedures.Responsibilities: Provide support to the HR department with daily operations and duties Assist in administrative tasks for the HR department Prepare and process documentation and reports related to personnel activities including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations Maintain and update employee records, both hard and soft copies Coordinate HR projects such as meetings, training, surveys, etc. and take minutes Respond to employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data such as absences, bonuses, leaves, etc. Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees Assist recruiters in sourcing candidates and updating our database Utilize skills in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, HRMS, About Time, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations, Employee Benefit Plan, Employee Benefit Program, Paycom. Requirements Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required Demonstrated experience with HRMS is necessary Familiarity with the 'About Time' software is a plus Knowledge of Benefit Functions in a HR role is crucial Experience with Compensation Administration is expected Must have a strong understanding of Compliance within HR Proven ability in managing Employee Relations is essential Experience in administrating Employee Benefit Plans is required Familiarity with Employee Benefit Programs is a must Proficiency in using Paycom software is highly desirable.
