Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Order Delivery Planner in the Agriculture industry, based in Willmar, Minnesota. The role involves creating efficient truck delivery routes for customer and interplant orders, dealing with daily and weekly volume peaks, and adapting to unpredictable overtime as volume dictates. Responsibilities: Create efficient truck delivery routes for customer and interplant orders using JDA software Group individual sales and transfer orders into optimal truck delivery routes to meet customer service requirements Adapt to daily and weekly volume peaks based on sales levels Complete all routing daily regardless of volume fluctuations Work past normal business hours as work volume dictates Accurately enter data and maintain proficiency with personal computers and mainframe systems Exhibit strong organizational skills and prioritize work effectively Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills Initiate appropriate action independently Uphold a strong understanding of teamwork as it relates to the entire organization Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word for office functions Perform clerical duties, handle correspondence, and provide customer service Coordinate logistics and handle billing functions. Requirements Previous experience in an Office Assistant role or similar administrative position for at least 1 year Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook Experience in managing office functions, billing functions, and clerical duties Ability to handle correspondence professionally and in a timely manner Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and customers Ability to coordinate logistics effectively and efficiently Knowledge of the agriculture industry is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
