Hiring for Mechanics and Mechanical AssemblersDescription:We are hiring for assemblers and mechanics to build concrete pumping equipment. Under general supervision, the assemblers will read and interpret blueprints (can train) to assemble components for build-to-sales order configurations and performs a wide variety of related mechanical assembly duties on prototype units.Would be most often be building Loop Belts on new builds- The trucks they make are worth anywhere from $800,000 to $1,500,000 per truck that they build brand new and are pretty much all made to order and custom.1st shift 6:00 - 2:30 (occasional OT - would start at 5 AM, but can be flexible, has to be open to working OT though)Essential Job Functions:Obtain work instructions from the Build Book program on the computer to assemble all required parts in preparation for beginning of scheduled assembly projectFollow engineering drawings, bills of materials and request parts from the Parts Department as requiredLay out truck details per engineering prints on a job-by-job basisPerform final assembly of all units, including hoods, electric, lights, stickers to customers specificationsConnect hydraulic lines and fills such with oil in preparation for required testingPrepare trucks for sub-frame assembly by disassembling, measuring, repositioning parts, installing parts and re-assemble unit by following proceduresTest the assembled parts or products to ensure they are functioning properly and are of good qualityComply with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices and proceduresMaintain tools and the work space in good conditionMay perform reasonably similar or related duties as assignedSkills:mechanical, power tool, mechanical assembly, assembly, hand tool, blueprint, schematicTop Skills Details:mechanical, power tool, mechanical assembly, assembly, hand toolAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must haves:
Must have Hydraulics / brake line / chassis work / blueprint experience

Ability to work OT when needed

Basic math knowledge
Have their own tools
