Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated Staff Accountant in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. Responsibilities: Manage all facets of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date Perform post-journal entries as part of the month-end close process Utilize various software including Infor Adage for different accounting tasks Ensure all financial data is prepared and ready for any audits or reviews Collaborate with other team members to optimize accounting procedures Address any inquiries or issues related to the accounting functions Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all accounting tasks.Requirements Applicants must be proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. Candidates should have experience in Bank Reconciliations. Proficiency in managing General Ledger is essential. Applicants should have experience in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries. Candidates should be able to handle Month End Close procedures.
