This position will also assist with updating supplier account information and approving new suppliers. In addition, this position responds to and recommends solutions to problems encountered by suppliers using SWIFT. This position will also lead an initiative to compile mailings to push for more of the states suppliers to use electronic payments.Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) state agency serves the people of Minnesota by providing the state with leadership and guidance to support efficient and effective government, a world class workforce, and responsible financial management.Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of para-professional/technical level experience using a large, complex automated accounting/payroll system, such as the State of Minnesota’s Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT) system.

An Associate's degree in accounting or a related field AND at least one (1) year of para-professional/technical level experience using a large, complex automated accounting/payroll system, such as the State of Minnesota’s Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT) system may substitute for 6 months of experience.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with the equivalent accounting coursework may substitute for 1 (one) year of experience.

Experience must include:

Customer service skills

Proven communication skills

Administrative and organizational skills

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, Excel, and Access

Proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software

Ability to navigate multiple software applications and databases.

Proven analytical and research skills to solve problems, make recommendations and initiate corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience/understanding of the state’s Accounting/Procurement system (SWIFT)

Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting related field.

Experience working in a call center
