Description We are working with a client who is seeking an immediate interim HR Generalist to assist their team in the machinery manufacturing industry, based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The primary role involves assisting with recruitment and scheduling interviews, onboarding, and benefits enrollment, maintaining accurate employee records, and addressing employee inquiries promptly. This role is approximately 20 to 25 hours per week and offers a flexible schedule. Responsibilities: Assist in recruitment activities including scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding processes Conduct I-9 verification for new hires Review and verify hourly payroll, checking for any discrepancies Input new hires into the system and confirm completion of benefit elections Respond to employees' inquiries in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent communication skills Problem solving with minimal guidance, displaying a strong sense of urgency and follow-up Carry out any other tasks as assigned, showcasing your ability to be flexible and pivot when necessary Leverage your experience with Jazz HR, Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, and Outlook in performing your duties Utilize your knowledge of Rippling software, if availableRequirements 2-3 years of experience in a HR Generalist or Specialist role or similar Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Outlook Experience with various HR functions such as Onboarding, Recruitment Advertising, and Benefits Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Excellent organizational and time management skills Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
