Bring a combination of skills in operational leadership, grants administration, and group training to enhance the success of State enterprise agencies to distribute funding more equitably. You will be tasked to lead in the development of policies, procedures, and trainings for inclusion of ERJ into grant making and grant administration across the enterprise.The position will have the opportunity to affect change throughout the State enterprise by providing subject matter expertise, technical assistance, and data collection and analysis, as well as supporting the DEI in Grant Administration Community of Practice. This position will also contribute expertise toward development of the Office of Grants Management (OGM) priorities, policies, and services to support agency partners and grant practitioners.Your connection to diverse cultural communities, knowledge of equity practices, and creative talents will help frame a new Equity in Grants Office and contribute to significant enhancements in grant governance at the State of Minnesota.To promote a culture of flexibility, we offer staff a hybrid work environment that varies by team, position, and business needs. At present, this position will have the option to telework with expectations to work onsite a minimum of one (1) day a week in concert with the OGM team and on other occasions as requested by management to meet business needs. The hybrid arrangement and frequency of onsite work may be subject to change. Completion of a telework agreement will be required.Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of grants management experience as evidenced by consulting with organizations receiving grants, managing grants, or creating grant policies.

Demonstrated grants management experience as evidenced by consulting with organizations writing proposals and/or grant applications, receiving grants, managing grants, or creating grant policies.

Experience facilitating or training large groups.

Knowledge of DEI concepts, best practices, issues, and trends.

Experience in project management methodology, best practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously.

Demonstrated ability to serve as a resource to lead, advise, and coach on DEI and racial justice.

Ability to create data metrics and use data tracking tools to measure results, analyze data, and provide recommendations for how data can best achieve ERJ goals.

Experience with American Indian, Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color communities or experience providing direct services to those communities.

Preferred Qualifications

Five (5) or more years of experience in grants management.

Two (2) years of experience facilitating or training large groups on DEI and racial justice related topics.

Experience with performance and outcomes measurements for grant programs administered by a public sector or nonprofit organization.

Certificate of successful training in facilitation methods (e.g., ICA-ToP, Art of Hosting, MAFN, etc.).

Three (3) or more years of project management experience.

Effective communication skills to consult on DEI initiatives.

Strategic planning and implementation experience.

Experience using one (1) or more grants management system data tools, such as Foundant, GrantVantage, BlackCat, or Fluxx.

Additional Requirements
