Description We are targeting a Data Entry clerk. We need someone to enter or update data into a computer system. Data is often entered into a computer from paper documents using a keyboard, scanner, etc.Job responsibilities of a Data Entry Clerk may include:
Entering and updating information into relevant databases
Ensuring data is backed up
Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
Checking completed data entries for mistakes or inaccuracies
Creating data backups
Transcribing documents
Testing new database systems and software updates
Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
Handling additional duties from time to time.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills typically required for this role are:
Excellent computer and typing skills
Detailed oriented
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Good understanding of data confidentiality principles
Familiarity with MS Office and data entry software.
High school diploma or equivalent.
